Solution                    Look at the fraction carefully

Step 1:   

Solution                    Multiply dividend by reciprocal of divisor and simplify

Step 2:      

3 x 5 = 3

Solution                    The answer is: 1

Step 3:                                                    2

When denominators are not same and fractions are mixed:  

5 3/2 ÷ 2 1/3

Convert mixed numbers to improper fractions and then multiply the

dividend by reciprocal of divisor and simplify i.e.

= 13/2 ÷ 7/3

                        = 13/2 x 3/7

The answer is: 2 11/14
