When denominators are not same and fractions are mixed:  

5 3/2 x 6 2/4

Convert mixed numbers to improper fractions and multiply numerator and

denominator of the fractions with each other i.e.

= 13/2 x 26/4

= 338/8

The answer is: 42 2
