Solution                     4 times 128 is 512.

                                                            Step 1:                       

Solution                     So we write 512 under 618 and 4 as quotient

Step 2:                         

Solution                     On subtraction we get remainder 106 and bringing down 0 we get 1060.

                                                            Step 3:                                   

Solution                     8 times 128 is 1024.

Step 4:  

                                                            Solution                     We write 1024 under 1060 and 36 as the remainder

                                                          Step 5:

                                                            Solution                     So the quotient is 48 and the remainder is 36
