Problem:      Analyze William’s Score stem and leaf plot. Rotate the stem and leaf plot onto its side so that it looks like a bar graph.

The leaf has last digit and usually a single digit while stem has other digits

1.    How many games scored less than 35? 5 games

2.    How many games scored at least 44? 5 games

3.    What are 3 highest scores? 47,53 and 55

Solution       Rotate the stem and leaf plot onto its side so that it looks like a bar graph.
