                     Lesson 1

Problem:      Solve and check: 7x + 3y = 6, x – 3y = 10

Solution       Subtract second equation from first

Step 1:             7x + 3y = 6

x – 3y = 10

                                                                                      8x - 0 = 16

Solution       Find value of  x :  x  =  2

Step 2: 

Solution       Insert the value of x in any of the equation and find   the value of y:

Step 3:            2 – 3y = 10; y = -8/3

                                                            Solution Answer: x = 2, y = -8/3

                                                            Step 4:

Complete
