Transformations - Rotations

                     Lesson 1

A rotation is a transformation that turns a figure about a fixed point called the center of rotation. 

                                                            An object and its rotation are the same shape and size, but the figures may be turned in different directions.

Problem:                   What is the measure of the angle made by the tail of the lizard with its body?                         

Step 1: See the image carefully.

Solution we can see that tail makes an angle of 90^o

 Solution                     The answer is:  90^o
