                     Lesson 1

Problem:    4 coins are tossed and 5 dice are rolled. What is the total   

number of all possible outcomes?    

Step 1:    4 coins means 4 x 2 = 8

Step 2: 5 dices means 6 x 6 x 6 x 6 x 6 = 7776

Step 3:    Total 7776 + 8 = 7784.00

                                                            Step 4: Answer is: 7784.00

                                                            Try two practice problems:

A.	A Restaurant has 20 drinks that come in 10 different cup sizes. How many different drinks can you order?
B.	30 coins are tossed and 4 dice are rolled. What is the total number of all possible outcomes?
