Transformation - Identify Line Reflection

                     Lesson 1

The reflection of an object is called its image. 

                                                             The line (where a mirror may be placed) is called the line of reflection. 

                                                             The distance from a point to the line of reflection is the same as the distance from the point's image to the line of reflection.

                                                               A reflection can be thought of as a "flipping" an object over the line of reflection.

Problem:            Is the reflection image of the figure the same?

Solution             Look at the image carefully.

 Step 1:                      

Solution We can see that second image appears in the different direction.

                                                             Step 2:                                  

Solution So, the reflection image of the figure is not same.

                                                             Step 3:    

 Solution             The answer is:  No

 Step 4:
