                     Lesson 1

Problem:                   In a test, scores obtained by 11 students were:  4, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 9, 9, 10, and 10.

                                            Complete the table and find the interval that contains the median.

Step 1:                     Read the data set and write in the table the frequency of each number.

3-4	2
5-6	3
7-8	2
9-10	4

                                                             Step 2:                   From the above table, we can see that median lies in the interval 7-8
